Let’s agree
the next step.

A useful first conversation, the access needed and a written scope. That gives us something specific to work towards.

  1. Tell me about the setup and the problem.

A website address, the fault you see or the email move you need is enough to start the conversation. Include the impact and any timing. I confirm whether I can take the work on and what information is needed next.

  2. Agree any investigation before it starts.

I identify the access required and what can reasonably be assessed. If that investigation is paid, we agree its scope, price and deliverable first. That might be findings, a migration plan or a proposal for a repair.

  3. Review the proposed work.

The quote explains the changes, exclusions, third-party costs, timing, responsibilities and payment. We also agree the test list, the handling of any private data and the rollback arrangements where needed.

  4. Carry out the agreed changes.

We use the access and environment agreed for the job. If the findings change the scope, I explain the options and ask before extending paid work. Other suppliers or providers may need to handle parts they control.

  5. Check it and hand it over.

The agreed functions are checked and outstanding items are recorded. You receive the relevant notes and access handover. Any follow-up window, maintenance or continuing support is stated in the agreement.
